AWS

AWS  ( AMAZON WEB SERVICES )

Hello everyone in this blog we are going to learn about AWS (Amazon Web Services) , which is a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform provided by Amazon that includes a mixture of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and packaged-software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings. The first product (S3) was released in 2006. AWS has grown a lot since then in both size and product range. It is, to date, the largest cloud provider in the world.

Why Learn AWS Cloud?

           1) This skill offers many job opportunities. Best cloud to start as a carrier since it covers almost all the services.

           2)  AWS is one of the major cloud providers ,Cheap and best.

           3) You can do everything in the AWS cloud securely.

TOP 10 CLOUD PROVIDERS

For clear understanding for the beginners , first we need to know what is cloud computing?

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Here you pay for what you use.

Deployment Models

Cloud-based
On-premises
Hybrid

Cloud-Based Deployment

Everything runs in the cloud. This model allows you to build new applications or move existing ones to the cloud. There are different levels of services ranging from low to high. The level of service has different requirements on your management, architecting, and infrastructure. For example, a company might create an application consisting of virtual servers, databases, and networking components entirely based in the cloud.

On-Premises Deployment

Deploy resources by using virtualization and resource management tools. On-Premises Deployment is also known as private cloud deployment. For example, you might have applications that run on technology that is fully kept in your on-premises data center. Though this model is much like legacy IT infrastructure, its application management and virtualization technologies make it more effective.

Hybrid Deployment

In a hybrid deployment, you connect cloud resources to an on-premises infrastructure. This approach is relevant in many situations. For example, you are working with sensitive data or are under specific government regulations.

Advantages of cloud computing

1.Cost Savings.
2.Security.
3.Flexibility.
4.Mobility.
5.Insight.
6.Increased Collaboration.
7.Quality Control.
8.Disaster Recovery.

Cloud Service Models

1.Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
2.Platform as a Service (PaaS)
3.Software as a Service (SaaS)

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
IaaS is also known as Hardware as a Service (HaaS). It is a computing infrastructure managed over the internet. The main advantage of using IaaS is that it helps users to avoid the cost and complexity of purchasing and managing the physical servers. Here resources are available as a service.

Platform as a Service (PaaS)
PaaS cloud computing platform is created for the programmer to develop, test, run, and manage the applications.

Software as a Service (SaaS)
SaaS is also known as "on-demand software". It is a software in which the applications are hosted by a cloud service provider. Users can access these applications with the help of internet connection and web browser.

I hope you were able to understand the concepts above. In the future blogs, we'll learn more about AWS services.
